Access and Engagement

The Access and Engagement team focuses on Birkbeck's commitment to improving the access and success of non-traditional students in London. Our innovative and award-winning widening access provision is designed to target potential students who would otherwise feel precluded from taking a step into higher education.

Work with us

Our access and engagement work relies on an extensive and committed group of partners and organisations. We believe collaboration and innovation with these partners, makes the biggest difference to key communities in London.

To achieve this, we work with a wide range of education, local authority service providers, and community-based organisations across London to help raise aspirations and introduce under-represented groups to higher education.
